Greetings in Jesus’ name, We would like to introduce you to Mt Zion House, a Christian drug and alcohol treatment facility for men located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Mt. Zion House is under the umbrella of Mt. Zion Christian Church with direct accountability to the church’s Elder Board. Our facility is located just west of Mt. Zion Christian Church at 2330 Hwy 120, Lake Geneva, WI.
The goal and purpose of Mt. Zion House is to introduce those who are in bondage to drugs, alcohol and any other life controlling addictions to the restorative power of Jesus Christ through a relationship with Him. We require a minimum 26 week commitment in which time we believe that we can effectively minister to the areas of their lives that need change.
There are 3 phases to this program which are all Christ centered. Phase 1 consists of a 4 week residential in house schedule that includes classes, counseling, group discussions, church attendance, work, meals, housing and recreation. There is a non-refundable $700 admission fee required prior to entry into the program. We believe that where God guides, God provides. Phase 2 consists of an 8 week transitional period, in which each man is required to secure a full time, first shift job and begin his responsibility to pay for housing and food and any other expenses that he may have. The final phase consists of an 14 week time frame and it is similar to phase 2. However, in phase 3, the men have an opportunity to receive privileges if they prove themselves to be faithful and obedient.
Mt. Zion House has been established through prayer and uses only the Word of God and His principles in all aspects of teaching. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The facility itself will house up to 24 men with a large kitchen, bathroom, dormitory bedrooms, common area, eating area, chapel, teaching and counseling areas. There is also a gymnasium available at our church which is just a few hundred yards away. Mt Zion House is located on a 15 acre parcel of land. A stream is located nearby as a peaceful setting for prayer and study.
